UAE too hot for India, blanks India 7-0 in the second round of the ongoing AFC Under-19 Championship Quaifiers

The UAE flexed their muscles against India with a sweeping 7-0 victory in the second round of the ongoing AFC Under-19 Championship Quaifiers at the Faisal Ibn Al Hussain Stadium in Ramallah, Palestine on Sunday night.
UAE boys are showing the way with six points from two starts ahead of the clash against hosts Palestine, who have collected full points with a narrow 1-0 over India in their first match, and set to take on Afghanistan in the late night clash.
"It's premature to say it's all over. We still need to win our final match against Palestine," said UAE head coach Badr Saleh.
Regarding the chances of the team to advance to the finals, Saleh said they are first eyeing the match against Palestine. "The team has played a big game. We may qualify as best seconds, we need to lead," he concluded. Majid Lavi found the back of the net on three occasions and topped the scores' table with five goals from two outings.
The journey to next year's continental youth finals continues on Sunday night when Palestine again face South Asian opposition in the shape of Afghanistan.
Ten group winners and five best second-placed teams will qualify for the finals while hosts Bahrain received an automatic qualification (total 16 teams).
If Bahrain finish top of their qualifying group or one of the five second best-placed teams, the next (6th) second-placed team will qualify for the final competition.
