Tribhuvan Army Club(T.A.C) beats Three Stars Club 2-0 to win the Ruslan 9th Simara Gold Cup

Tribhuvan Army Club won the Ruslan 9th Simara Gold Cup Final on Saturday beating Ruslan Three Star Club 2-0 on Saturday at the Simara Stadium on Saturday (February 17,2018)
Dinesh Henjan who scored in the semi-final against Birgunj United scored the opening goal on the 58th minute to give TAC the all-important lead in the final.
Nepal International Nawayug Shrestha added to the score on 73rd minute to seal the match for the Armymen.
TAC is enjoying strong form this season as Nabin Neupane’s side have added a fifth win to their Championship title this season having won four knock-out tournaments out of eight they have participated so far.
Army Club have won the titles of Bishal Memorial Gold Cup, Satakshi Gold Cup, Kakadbhitta Gold Cup and Khaptad Gold Cup while Three Star Club has won Madan Bhandari Memorial Itahari Gold Cup and Budha Subba Gold Cup.

Champions TAC earned Rs 551,000, while runners up Three Star Club received Rs 250,000. Goalscorer Dinesh Henjan was named Most Valuable Player(MVP) of the tournament and he also received the highest scorer’s award netting three goals in three matches.
